Wainwright's A TINY MIRACLE, he has been asked to speak to elementary, middle, high school and college students on creative writing. By 1999 he had met with over 250,000 students nationally from Maine to Florida and as far west as Illinois. His highly regarded presentations relate the process of developing an idea, refining, editing and illustrating the story along with its printing and ultimate marketing. Mr. Wainwright focuses on character development, sensitivity and emotions.
Richard also speaks to adult groups regarding his spiritual book "Closer Than We Imagine" and the road that led to writing ten stories for people of all ages.
